This Privacy Policy explains how Runshop ("Application" or "Service"), provided by Runshop ("Service Provider"), collects, uses, and shares information. Runshop consists of the Runshop mobile app and Runshop Web, a browser-based companion tool for importing store data. The Service is provided AS IS.
Information We Collect
Account Information
To use Runshop you must sign in with a Runshop account. Accounts are created and managed through the Runshop mobile app using Apple, Google, or email/password sign-in. Depending on the provider you choose, we receive information such as your email address and, where provided, your name and a provider user identifier. An account is required; Runshop Web does not support anonymous access.
Data You Provide
Runshop is a tool for tracking store visits. When you use the Application — including pasting or importing store lists through Runshop Web — we store the business data you enter, such as store names, addresses, visit dates, and related notes. This data is saved to your account so it can sync between Runshop Web and the mobile app.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase) may automatically process limited technical information needed to operate the Service securely, such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps of authentication and data requests.
Third-Party Services
Runshop is built on Google Firebase and uses the following Firebase services to operate:
- Firebase Authentication — to sign you in and manage your account
- Cloud Firestore — to store and sync your account settings and store data
Runshop does not display advertising and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs such as AdMob. Google processes data under its own privacy practices; review their policy to understand how they handle information.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to authenticate you, provide and sync the store-tracking and import features, maintain the security and integrity of the Service, and send you important notices about the Service.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your information. We may disclose data if required by law, to comply with valid legal process, to investigate misuse, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Runshop, its users, or the public. Other than the infrastructure providers described above, we do not share your store data with third parties.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your account and store data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at leon.chuang.tw@gmail.com. Residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period.
Children's Privacy
Runshop is a business productivity tool intended for use by working professionals and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
Security
We rely on Google Firebase's infrastructure together with reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Runshop after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
